It is not always the students get to thank their teachers. It is on the Teacher's day that students get to say and express what they feel about their teachers. In India on 5th September, teacher's day is celebrated in the honour of Dr. Sarbapalli Radhakrishnan who was a great educationist and also the first elected President of India. In Vishwadeep School Durg , we spend the day honouring and thanking educators who spend themselves for molding the life of young people. And The students thanked God for creating of such beautiful people, without whom transformation of the young would not have been possible. The celebrations start in a prayerful mood with a prayer service to thank God for educationists like Dr.Radhakrishnan, and our teachers. After all the day's function, the teachers are served their sweets and truly the day is well spent in remembering and thanking all those who are sometimes taken for granted.

Children's day finds special significance in the school. On 14th November, children's day is celebrated throughout India. On this day the first prime minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru was born. Mr. Nehru was a great lover of children. Wherever he went children followed and he was affectionately referred to as "Cha-cha" Nehru. Vishwadeep too was a profound supporter of youth and Children's day and hence is celebrated with great pomp and show. In the morning assembly, the students assembles together in the school field where the day is started invoking God's blessings. After the assembly the fancy dress competition begins, where the students from various classes dress themselves up as personalities and go around. Of course there is music for students to groove. However amidst the celebrations the noble intentions are not lost, as the proceeds from the sale of the coupons, are invested towards the welfare of the local under-privileged children who do not get the opportunity to receive quality education.
